Crawler Policy

Last updated 25 September 2026

DroneGallery maps the professional unmanned-systems market by reading publicly available product information. This page explains what our crawler does, how to recognise it and how you stay in control of your content.

1. Who we are

The crawler is operated by Cemco Consulting ApS, Denmark for DroneGallery (dronegallery.com). Contact: info@dronegallery.com.

2. What the crawler collects

  • Factual product information published by manufacturers: names, product types, technical specifications, compliance and certification statements, prices and availability where published.
  • Company information: name, website, country, and business contact channels the company has published (for example a general sales address).
  • Links to — not copies of — images, datasheets, manuals and videos, together with the page they were found on and the date.

We do not collect content behind logins or paywalls, and we do not reproduce marketing copy: product descriptions on DroneGallery are written by us from the facts. Images are not copied to our servers — visitors' browsers load them directly from your site, and if your server refuses that, we show a neutral placeholder instead.

3. Identifying the crawler

Requests from our crawler identify themselves with this user agent:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; DroneGalleryBot/1.0; +https://dronegallery.vercel.app/crawler-policy)

The link in the user agent points to this page. If you see traffic that claims to be our crawler but behaves differently from what is described here, please tell us.

4. How it behaves

  • Respects robots.txt, including rules for DroneGalleryBot and *.
  • Crawls politely: low request rates per site, backing off on errors and honouring Crawl-delay and Retry-After.
  • Revisits pages periodically to keep information current; each value on DroneGallery shows its source and when it was retrieved.

5. How the data is used

Collected information is shown on public listings marked Collected automatically, with the source linked and a notice that it has not been reviewed by the manufacturer. It helps buyers find and compare products and contact the manufacturer. We never present it as endorsed by the manufacturer. See the Data Disclaimer and, for personal data, section 3 of the Privacy Policy.

6. Opting out

To stop the crawler from visiting your site, add this to your robots.txt:

User-agent: DroneGalleryBot
Disallow: /

Opting out stops new collection. To also remove information that is already listed, send a removal request (below) — we then remove it and record that the company should not be listed again.

7. Corrections, removal and takedown

  • Represent the company? Claim your profile for free to correct information, add your own images, documents and descriptions, or ask us to remove products.
  • Corrections, removal, copyright or trademark notices: use the request form or email info@dronegallery.com. For copyright notices, identify the work, where it appears on DroneGallery, and your right to act for the owner. We act on valid notices promptly and confirm when done.
