The DEXI‑5 provides students with a full autonomy platform: a PX4 1.17 flight controller, ARK Pi6X Flow, PAW3902 optical‑flow + range sensor and a Raspberry Pi CM4 companion computer. An onboard Pi camera runs open ROS 2 vision packages such as YOLO and AprilTag, enabling autonomous waypoint missions indoors or outdoors using optical flow.
